Resolution vacating a portion of Bradley Street and Horner Street and vacating all of Eustace Way, Floree Way, Ruthledge Street, Unnamed Way and Vaughn Street in the 19th Ward, 2nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Body
WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of vacating a portion of Bradley Street and Horner Street and vacating all of Eustace Way, Floree Way, Ruthledge Street, Unnamed Way and Vaughn Street in the 19th Ward, 2nd Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and

WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the city from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by and persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore
WHEREAS, the above three (3) Ways and four (4) Streets all lie within the Duquesne Heights Greenway, being part of the Grandview Scenic Byway Park and the adjoining property owner adjacent to all seven (7) is the City of Pittsburgh.
WHEREAS, these seven (7) rights-of-way are considered "paper" rights-of-way and serve no functional use, the Parks and Recreation Department is petitioning City Council to vacate these rights-of-way so the land area can revert to become part of the Duquesne Heights Greenway property.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The descriptions of the property to be vacated are as follows:
Vacating part of Bradley Street, 35 feet wide, from the Southeast corner of parcel 6-B-47 at its intersection with Bradley Street Northward to its terminus. Having an Easterly line of 614.98 feet and a Westerly line of 575.98 feet for an average distance of 595.48...
