Title
Resolution granting to Columbia Gas Company a permanent pipeline easement and a temporary construction easement through designated City of Pittsburgh property in the 27th Ward.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Directors of the Department of Finance and Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to execute an agreement granting to Columbia Gas Company a permanent easement and a temporary construction easement, upon which to lay pipelines together with service connections, over and through the premises hereinafter described, and to operate and maintain without restriction or limitation, repair, replace or change the size of its pipes without interruption to service, and remove same, together with valves and other necessary appurtenances on lands situated in the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and more particularly described in Deed Book 6516 Page 36 as derived by deed recorded in the office of Recorder of Deeds, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Said agreement shall be in the form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such terms and conditions for the protection of the City of Pittsburgh as the Solicitor may require. The easements granted to Columbia Gas Company hereunder are further described on the legal description attached hereto as Exhibit “A-1”.
Section 2.
The privileges and easements hereby granted shall be subject to the following terms and conditions as shall be more specifically set forth in the agreement authorized by this Resolution:
a) Columbia Gas Company shall bear the full cost and expense of the installation, construction, use and maintenance of said easements.
