Resolution authorizing the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to replace the stop light at the corner of Brighton and Jacksonia in the amount of ONE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY DOLLARS AND SIXTY CENTS ($195,990.60) and authorizing expenditures for this stated purpose.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are authorized to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to replace the stop light at the corner of Brighton and Jacksonia in the amount of ONE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY DOLLARS AND SIXTY CENTS ($195,990.60) Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund 6029400399.45505.00
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure are further authorized to enter into Agreements, or Contracts, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts, for expenditures not to exceed TWO HUNDRED FORTY FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY NINE DOLLARS AND SIXTY CENTS ($244,990.60) replace the stop light at the corner of Brighton and Jacksonia under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, chargeable to and payable from the appropriate expenditure line in the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400399.
Section 3. The local match of FORTY NINE THOUSAND ($49,000) dollars shall come from the 2023 Capital Budget (JDE job number 6074010323 for a total project cost of TWO HUNDRED FORTY FOUR THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED NINETY NINE DOLLARS AND SIXTY CENTS ($244,990.60).
