Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or the use of existing Agreements, for the professional landscape architectural services for Sheraden Park Phase I Design, between the City of Pittsburgh and Klavon Design Associates, Inc. The total not to exceed cost is Three Hundred Thousand ($300,000.00) Dollars.

WHEREAS, a planning process led by the Department of City Planning and residents in the Sheraden community resulted in a Master Plan for Sheraden Park; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh 2021 Capital Budget includes $300,000.00 for Sheraden - Design; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, released a Request for Proposals to solicit for landscape architectural services for professional services to complete design documents for Sheraden Park; and
WHEREAS, a selection committee chose a proposal by Klavon Design Associates, Inc. for professional landscape architectural services in the amount of One Hundred Ninety Eight Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty Five ($198,355.00) Dollars.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Funds are available in the Park Reconstruction (BOND) line item,
2021 DELIVERABLE: Sheraden Park - Design
The amount to be encumbered is $300,000.00
