Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the City Solicitor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a professional services agreement with Cohen Law Group to address a matter of pending telecommunications litigation at USDC 2:21-cv-443 at an amount not to exceed sixty-one thousand fifty dollars ($61,050).

WHEREAS, the City wishes to contract expert services concerning federal litigation related to the Telecommunications Act of 1996; and
WHEREAS, Cohen Law Group is qualified to complete the specialized work necessary; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into an agreement with Cohen Law Group with respect to this litigation.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the City Solicitor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are authorized to enter into a professional services agreement with Cohen Law Group to address a matter of pending telecommunications litigation at USDC 2:21-cv-443 at an amount not to exceed sixty-one thousand fifty dollars ($61,050) appropriated from the following code account: 11101.108000.53.53517.2021.
Section 2. Said Agreement or Agreements are approved by the City Solicitor as to form.
