Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The Recitals of Resolution 819 of 2019, effective December 16, 2019, are hereby amended to read as follows:

WHEREAS, the City's Department of City Planning includes a Public Art + Civic Design division, which seeks to introduce new and innovative public art programs around the City of Pittsburgh; and

WHEREAS, the Allegheny Regional Asset District ("RAD") has invested in the creation and preservation of regional public assets and institutions since 1995; and

WHEREAS, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of RAD's funding programs, a "RADical ImPAct Grant" was created to assist current RAD Assets in the creation of bold and inspiring projects; and

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh cooperated with Allegheny County in a joint application to this grant; and

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County were together awarded a grant of 1.5 million dollars to fund public art programs, of which $500,000 is allocated for use by the City of Pittsburgh, and

WHEREAS, the City's award will fund five (5) eight (8) public art projects in 20202021, in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) each for individual amounts ranging from Thirty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($30,000) to One Hundred Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($100,000), with at least one in each RAD Asset City Park, those being Emerald View Park, Frick ...
