The grant requires a match from the City of Pittsburgh in the amount of THREE MILLION THREE HUNDRED THIRTY TWO THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY ($3,332,750.00) dollars for this stated purpose for a total project cost of THIRTEEN MILLION THREE HUNDRED THIRTY ONE THOUSAND ($13,331,000.00) dollars.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency to receive a grant award in the amount of NINE MILLION NINE HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY ($9,998,250.00) dollars for the purpose of conducting landslide remediation on Mount Washington. Required matching funds of FOUR HUNDRED FOURTY ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND ($441,375) are earmarked in the City’s 2021 Capital budget (JDE job number 6091030121) with the remaining TWO MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE ($2,891,375.00) dollars earmarked for the 2022 Capital budget (JDE job number 6091030122). Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400345. 45505.00.
Section 2. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into agreements, or contracts, or utilize existing agreements or contracts and not to exceed NINE MILLION NINE HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY ($9,998,250.00) dollars to conduct landslide remediation on Mount Washington under the terms and agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency. Required matching funds of FOUR HUNDRED FOURTY ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND ($441,375) are earmarked in the City’s 2021 Capital budget (JDE job number 6091030121) with the remaining TWO MILLION EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE ($2,891,375.00) dollars earmarked for the 2022 Capital budget (JDE job number 6091030122). Costs are chargeable and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 6029400345.50000.00.
