Title

Resolution authorizing the Director of the Department of Innovation & Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a data-sharing agreement to access certain data from the I-95 Corridor Coalition Traffic Flow Data Program.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh is an affiliate member of the I-95 Corridor Coalition; and

 

WHEREAS, City’s membership enables it to obtain certain traffic data available to all I-95 Corridor Coalition members and affiliate members; and

 

WHEREAS, access to this data requires the City to agree to certain terms and conditions with data vendors including Inrix, Inc; HERE North America, LLC; and TomTom North America, Inc; and

 

WHEREAS, the City wishes to enter into this agreement in order to access this I-95 Corridor Coalition Traffic Flow Data.

 

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Director of the Department of Innovation and Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is authorized to enter into a data-sharing agreement with Inrix, Inc; HERE North America, LLC; and TomTom North America, Inc; in order to access certain traffic flow available to members and affiliate members of the I-95 Corridor Coalition.
