Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission to enter into a grant agreement with an organization for the facilitation of the 2017 Youth Participatory Budget Council’s final proposal, which calls for funding college preparatory and career readiness programs for low income high school students, for an amount not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000).

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission are hereby authorized to enter into a grant agreement with an organization for the facilitation of 2017 Youth Participatory Budget Council’s final proposal, which calls for funding college preparatory and career readiness programs for low income high school students, in an amount not to exceed Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars, payable from the following account: 11101.109000.58.58101.2017, Item #22222-40.

 

Section 2.                     Said Agreement or Agreements shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.

 

Section 3.                     At the conclusion of the program, the selected organization shall issue a report to the Pittsburgh City Council detailing the achievements of the program.
