Title
Resolution providing for the designation as a Historic Structure under Title 11 of the Code of Ordinances that certain site known as Voegtly Spring, located on Damas Street near Homer Street, block and lot number 47-K-193, in the 24th Ward, City of Pittsburgh.

Body
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh has duly enacted Title 11of the Code of Ordinances, which protects and preserves Historic Structures, Districts, Sites, and Objects; and

WHEREAS, Matthew Falcone has nominated Voegtly Spring on Damas Street near Homer Street for designation as a Historic Site; and

WHEREAS, the Historic Review Commission has held a public hearing to gather testimony from the property owner and other interested parties concerning the appropriateness of this designation; and

WHEREAS, the Historic Review Commission has voted to recommend that City Council DESIGNATE the Voegtly Spring on Damas Street near Homer Street as a Historic Site; and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has held a public hearing to gather testimony from the property owner and other interested parties concerning the appropriateness of this designation; and

WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has voted to recommend that City Council DESIGNATE Voegtly Spring on Damas Street near Homer Street as a Historic Site; and

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh has held a public hearing to gather testimony from the public concerning the appropriateness of this designation; and

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh finds that the aforementioned site is a Historic Site that should be preserved;

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of Title 11 of the Code of Ordinances, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby designates as a Historic Structure the building known as the Voegtly Spring on Damas Street near Homer Street, block and lot number 74-K-193, in the 24th Ward, City of Pittsburg...
