Title

Resolution authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to acquire all the City's Right, Title and Interest, if any, in and to the Publicly-Owned Properties in the 18^th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 3-N, Lots 154 and 171, Block 3-P, Lots 186, 197, 216, 262, 277 and 281, Block 3-R, Lots 305 and 306, Block 14-A, Lot 292, Block 14-B, Lots 6, 7, 10, 15, 78, 223A and 254 (Council District No. 3 - scattered site affordable housing).

Body

WHEREAS, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh desires to acquire all the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to publicly-owned properties known as Block 3-N, Lots 154 and 171, Block 3-P, Lots 186, 197, 216, 262, 277 and 281, Block 3-R, Lots 305 and 306, Block 14-A, Lot 292, Block 14-B, Lots 6, 7, 10, 15, 78, 223A and 254 in the 18th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for the sum of $1.00 plus all necessary and incidental expenses relating to such acquisition.

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh desires to give approval to the acquisition by Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     That the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to acquire, for the sum of $1.00 plus all necessary and incidental expenses relating to such acquisition, all the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to publicly-owned properties known as Block 3-N, Lots 154 and 171, Block 3-P, Lots 186, 197, 216, 262, 277 and 281, Block 3-R, Lots 305 and 306, Block 14-A, Lot 292, Block 14-B, Lots 6, 7, 10, 15, 78, 223A and 254 in the 18^th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh (Council District No. 3 - scattered site affordable housing).

Section 2.                     That the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is authorized to incur said necessary and incidental expenses in connection with said acquisition.
