Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor, and the Director of Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement/Agreements, in the form approved by the City Solicitor with the Family Mediation Center of Western Pennsylvania, to provide mediation between tenants and landlords and training to community members to prevent evictions in the City of Pittsburgh.  Training for community members will help establish a peer mediation program to prevent issues between landlords and their tenants early on, in an amount not to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00), chargeable and payable from the following accounts:

FAIR HOUSING - FAIR HOUSING ADMINISTRATION AND TRAINING        $10,000.00
