Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and the Director of OMB are authorized to accept donations from PWSA and Peoples Gas in the amounts of $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 for the purpose of offering free water filters to all City of Pittsburgh homeowners. Monies from these donations shall be deposited into capital account 4030142117.48106.00 Fund 40117, Water Feature Upgrades.

Section 2.  The Mayor and the Director of OMB are authorized to enter into a Donation Agreement with PWSA and Peoples Gas regarding the donation to be used for offering free water filters to all City of Pittsburgh homeowners. All Agreements will be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
