Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into a License and Maintenance Agreement with the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation (BGC) for the purpose of maintaining the landscaping installed by the City along Penn Avenue between Mathilda Street and Evaline Street.

Body

WHEREAS, the City owns certain land along Penn Avenue between Mathilda Street and Evaline Street in the Eighth (8^th) and Tenth (10^th) Wards of the City of Pittsburgh; and

WHEREAS, the City will own the Project, but desires to cooperate with BCG to maintain landscaping along that route (the “Site); and

WHEREAS, the parties now desire to set forth their mutual responsibilities in this regard;

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into a license and maintenance agreement with the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation (BGC) for the purpose of maintaining the landscaping installed by the City along Penn Avenue between Mathilda Street and Evaline Street.
