Resolution authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to acquire all the City's Right, Title and Interest, if any, in and to the vacated Right of Way adjoining the Publicly-Owned properties in the 21st Ward of the City of Pittsburgh designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 22-F, Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, and Block 22-G, Lots 1, 2, 4, and 14, located at 1241 Kunkle Avenue, 1237 Kunkel Avenue, California Avenue between Kunkle Avenue and Doll Way, 1229 Kunkle Avenue, 1227 Kunkle Avenue, Doll Way between Kunkle Avenue and California Avenue, 1937 Sedgwick Street, 1935 Sedgwick Street, 1935 Sedgwick Street, and Sedgwick Street at California Avenue, respectively (Council District No. 6).

Whereas, pursuant to Council Resolution 836 of 2018, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is authorized to acquire certain properties in the 21st Ward, including those designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 22-F, Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, and Block 22-G, Lot 14; and
Whereas, pursuant to Council Resolution 653 of 2019, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is authorized to acquire properties in the 21st Ward designated in the Deed Registry Office of Allegheny County as Block 22-G, Lots 1, 2, and 4; and
Whereas, pursuant to Council Resolution 512 of 2021, a portion of California Avenue from Kirkbride Street to Kunkle Avenue, a portion of Sedgwick Street from Lamont Way to Kirkbride Street, Doll Way from Kunkle Avenue to California Avenue, and an Unnamed Alley from Doll Way to California Avenue, in the 21st Ward, was vacated; and
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh desires to acquire all the City's right, title and interest, if any, in and to that portion of the vacated right of way adjoining the publicly-owned properties known as Block 22-F, Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, and Block 22-G, Lots 1, 2, 4, and 14, in the 21st Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for the...
