Resolution further amending Resolution No. 492, effective October 8, 2020, entitled "authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works, to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or the use of existing Agreements, between the City of Pittsburgh and Renaissance 3 Architects, for the professional architecture services for Robert E. Williams Community Building - Reconstruction and Design Documents, at a cost not to exceed THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED NINETY SIX DOLLARS AND EIGHT CENTS ($321,296.08), for professional services" by increasing the total allocation to $83,953.63

WHEREAS, a planning process with residents and stakeholders in the Upper Hill District community resulted in the Department of Public Works to develop a Program and Conceptual Design for the Robert E. Williams Community Building; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh 2019 Capital Budget includes $1,100,000.00 for Robert E. Williams Community Building - Reconstruction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh 2020 Capital Budget includes $300,000.00 for Robert E. Williams Community Building - Reconstruction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh 2021 Capital Budget includes $750,000.00 for Robert E. Williams Community Center; and
WHEREAS, on March 27, 2019, the Office of Management and Budget, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, released a Request for Proposals to solicit for professional architecture services to complete design documents; and
WHEREAS, a selection committee chose a proposal by Renaissance 3 Architect for professional architecture services.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
