Title

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission in order to receive a grant award in the amount of EIGHT THOUSAND SIXTEEN ($8,016.00) dollars for the purpose of scanning and rehousing 26 volumes of City Council Minute books (1816 - 1877) and 74 volumes of annexed borough books. The grant requires a match from the City of Pittsburgh in the amount of EIGHT THOSAND SIXTEEN ($8,016.00) dollars for a total project cost of SIXTEEN THOUSAND THIRTY TWO (16,032.00) dollars. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 0129400356.45505.00.

Section 2.  The Mayor and City Clerk of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into agreements, or contracts, or utilize existing agreement or contracts not to exceed EIGHT THOUSAND SIXTEEN (8,016.00) dollars for the purpose of scanning and rehousing 26 volumes of City Council Minute books (1816 - 1877) and 74 volumes of annexed borough books under the terms of the agreement between the City of Pittsburgh and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission. The grant requires a match from the City in the amount of EIGHT THOUSAND SIXTEEN (8,016.00) dollars for a total project cost of SIXTEEN THOUSAND THIRTY TWO ($16,032.00) dollars. Costs are chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 0129400356.50000.00.
