2011-1653 1 ResolutionResolution authorizing the issuance of two warrants in the total sum of $35,000. One payable to the American Center for Law & Justice 5068 Plymouth Road, P.O. Box 130440, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, in the amount of $32,000. The second payable to Flaherty Fardo, LLC c/o American Center for Law & Justice, in the amount of $ 3,000 and the full repeal of Ordinance 601.02, in full and final settlement of an action filed at 2:10-cv-1305 in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and arising from alleged violation of the Constitutional right to freedom of speech, caused by Ordinance 601.02.   
2011-1701 1 ResolutionResolution providing for the issuance of a $7,500.00 warrant in favor of Mark & Christine Machi, c/o Domenic A. Bellisario, Esquire, 310 Grant Street, Suite 1302, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, in settlement of a claim for damage to a private driveway adjacent to property located at 4042 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, 15224, by snow removal crews after the February 2010 snowstorm.

This will include job readiness training of city residents; outreach and recruitment of city residents and a job fair.
