Title: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend all of the 2011 CTAC Core Series Program graduates for their continued dedication to our communities; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby proclaim declare Tuesday, July 19, 2011, to be "CTAC Core Series Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

BODY
WHEREAS, the Community Technical Assistance Center (CTAC) is a non-profit corporation committed to develop and strengthen neighborhoods by investing in the volunteers and staff of community-based organizations through training and individualized consulting services; and,
WHEREAS, CTAC provides the basic building blocks for organization leaders to enhance the skills required to build and operate effective neighborhood groups, tenant councils, community-based organizations and community development corporations in southwestern Pennsylvania; and,
WHEREAS, CTAC's Core Series Program consisted of six workshops that were designed to strengthen community-based, nonprofit organizations within the realms of Leadership, Board Structure and Bylaws, Board Roles and Responsibilities, Foundation & Donor Relations, Strategic Planning and Financial Management; and,
WHEREAS, the following individuals have successfully completed CTAC's 2011 Core Series Program:
