Resolution amending Resolution No. 875, effective December 29, 2010, entitled "Authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to submit an Application to the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant of up to $250,000 for the Point State Park Trail System a/k/a Mon Wharf Switchback project." by increasing the amount of the grant to $500,000. (Council Districts 2 & 3)

Whereas, by Resolution No. 875, effective December 29, 2010, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorized Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") to submit an application to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget (the "Commonwealth") for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program ("RACP") in the amount of $250,000 for the Point State Park Trail System a/k/a Mon Wharf Switchback project (the "Project"); and
Whereas, the Commonwealth has increased the grant to $500,000, which requires an amendment to Resolution No. 875 to reflect the increased grant;
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 875, effective December 29, 2010, which currently reads as follows:
"The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of up to $250,000 for the Project."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of $500,000 for the Point State Park Trail System a/k/a Mon Wharf Switchback Project."
