Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:            

Section 1.  The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a warrant in favor of Thorp Reed & Armstrong, LLP, P.O. Box 3300, Pittsburgh, PA  15230 in an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-Five Dollars ($5,955.00) for professional services in connection with expert consulting regarding legislation pertaining to Marcellus Shale drilling, chargeable to and payable from Account 526100, Fund 1000, Organization 108000, Subclass 150, Budget Year 2011.
