The Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
 
Section 1.  Amending the Pittsburgh City Code, Title One, Administrative, Article IX: Boards, Commissions and Authorities, by amending Chapter 178B: Propel Pittsburgh Commission, Sec. 178B.01, Propel Pittsburgh Commission and Sec. 178B.02, Propel Pittsburgh Commission; Meetings and Chair.
 
 
§ 178B.01  PROPEL PITTSBURGH COMMISSION.
The Propel Pittsburgh Commission shall consist of a diverse group of thirty-five (35) fifteen (15) City of Pittsburgh residents who are between the ages of 20-34 at the beginning their term, selected from the community at large. The composition shall be established to allow representatives of City Council to nominate one (1) or more representatives from their respective council district. The Propel Pittsburgh Commission shall have at least one representative for each council district.  The other twenty-six (26) All commissioners will be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council.
 
§ 178B.02  PROPEL PITTSBURGH COMMISSION; MEETINGS AND CHAIR.
The Mayor shall serve as the Chair of the Propel Pittsburgh Commission and has the opportunity to designate a Co-Chair if deemed necessary. The Propel Pittsburgh Commission shall elect a chair by a majority vote of its members at its first meeting  each calendar year.  The Propel Pittsburgh Commission shall meet at least every other month and may establish committees as deemed necessary. The membership of each committee shall include no less than one (1) member of the Propel Pittsburgh Commission with the membership and the chair of each committee being appointed by the Mayor.
