Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance and/or the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into a License Agreement with the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania, Department of Environmental Protection ("DEP"), to occupy submerged lands of the Commonwealth for a boat dock at mile 0.6 of the Allegheny River (Allegheny Landing) for recreation, fishing, or other trust purposes.  
 
Body
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  Whereas, the Riverlife Task Force is planning to make repairs to an existing wooden deck at Allegheny Landing, which is located on City property; and
 
Whereas, before issuing the necessary permit(s) to allow such repairs, the DEP will require the City to enter into a License Agreement to permit occupation of submerged lands of the Commonwealth.
 
The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation and/or the Director of the Department of Public Works are hereby authorized to enter into a License Agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Environmental Protection, to occupy submerged lands of the Commonwealth for a boat dock at mile 0.6 of the Allegheny River for recreation, fishing, or other trust purposes.  The License Agreement shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
