Title: Resolution amending Resolution No. 486 of 2010, authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety or the Chief of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or to supplement existing agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for the provision of medical direction services for a period of one year commencing July 1, 2010 to July 1, 2011 automatically renewing in 2012 and 2013 unless either party gives (6) month written notice with intent to terminate. The City shall pay consultant a fee not to exceed $25,000.00 $40,000.00 for the second half of 2010, and a fee not to exceed $50,000.00 $80,000.00 in calendar years 2011, 2012 not to exceed $25,000.00 $40,000.00 for the first half of 2013.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:


Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety or the Chief of the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement or Agreements, or to supplement existing agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for the provision of medical direction services for a period of one year commencing July 1, 2010 to July 1, 2011 automatically renewing in 2012 and 2013 unless either party gives (6) month written notice with intent to terminate. The City shall pay consultant a fee not to exceed $25,000.00 for the second half of 2010, and a fee not to exceed $50,000.00 in calendar years 2011, 2012 not to exceed $25,000.00 for the first half of 2013.

For the provision of Paramedic and EMT training a fee not to exceed $15,000.00 for the second half of 2010, not to exceed $30,000.00 for calendar years 2011, 2012 and not to exceed $15,000.00 for the first half of 2013.
