WHEREAS, on November 1, 2010, the Schenley High School girls' soccer team won its fourth consecutive City League championship; and
WHEREAS, head coach Kevin Shevitz and assistant coach Emily Gunter led the team to a record of 9-1 in the City League and an overall record of 14-6; and
WHEREAS, the team rallied around the slogan "Remember The Name," in the last season before Schenley High School closes at the end of the academic year; and
WHERAS, the championship winning team players are:

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and congratulate the Schenley High School girls' soccer team for winning its final championship; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare November 30, 2010 "Schenley High School Girls' Soccer Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
