(Council District 2)

Whereas, by Resolution No. 187, effective April 23, 2009, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorized Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (“URA”) to submit an application to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget (the “Commonwealth”) for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (“RACP”) in the amount of $250,000 for the Steamfitters Local 449 Training Facility project (the “Project”); and

Whereas, by Resolution No. 573, effective August 20, 2010, URA was authorized to amend the application to increase the grant by $250,000 to $500,000; and

Whereas, the Commonwealth has increased the grant by an additional $250,000 to $750,000, which requires an amendment to Resolution No. 187, as amended, to reflect the increased grant;

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:


Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 187, effective April 23, 2009, as amended by Resolution No. 573, effective August 20, 2010, which currently reads as follows:

“The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of $500,000 for the Project.”

is hereby amended to read as follows:

“The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assista...
