Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Section 1 of resolution 138, effective March 28 of 2008 and as amended by Resolution 532, effective November 17, 2004, as amended by Resolution No. 145, effective March 17, 2000, and also as amended by Resolution 439, effective June 27, 2002, which presently reads as follows:

“The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the Department of Public Safety, are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a lease and/or sublease with Scientific-Pittsburgh, lessor, for approximately 864 square feet of office space within the 20th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, for the purpose of establishing offices for the Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Police, Weed & Seed Task Force effective November 1, 2007 and renewable annually until November 1, 2010 thereafter at a cost not to exceed Eight Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($815.00) per month, Nine Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Dollars ($9,780.00) per year subject to and contingent upon the annual appropriation of City Council, chargeable and payable from Account 561...
