Resolution directing the City of Pittsburgh to participate in an inter-municipal initiative to evaluate options for Regional Municipal Sewer System Management.

Whereas, Aspinwall Borough, Baldwin Borough, Baldwin Township, Bellevue Borough, Brentwood Borough, Castle Shannon Borough, Crafton Borough, Dormont Borough, Edgewood Borough, Green Tree Borough, Ingram Borough, Mount Lebanon Township, Mount Oliver Borough, Penn Hills Township, Reserve Township, Ross Township, Scott Township, Swissvale Borough, West Mifflin Township, Whitehall Borough, Wilkinsburg Borough and the City of Pittsburgh will be joining an inter-municipal initiative to evaluate options for regional municipal sewer system management, AND
Whereas, The City of Pittsburgh wishes to participate in said inter-municipality cooperative project, AND
Whereas, 3 Rivers Wet Weather, Inc. makes available grants-in-aid for this project.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of as follows:
Section 1. Directing the City of Pittsburgh to participate in an inter-municipal initiative to evaluate options for Regional Municipal Sewer System Management.
Section 2. The City hereby authorizes CONNECT, the Congress of Neighboring Communities, to make application on behalf of the City for a grant.
Section 3. The City further authorizes the release of project-related municipal data as required under the guidelines of said grant.
