Title
Resolution approving execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for the sale of Block 45-J, Lot 280, in the 27th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, in the Marshall Shadeland Neighborhood - Superior Avenue - Council District No. 1 (Washburn Square Park).
 
Body
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh, in connection with the sale of Block 45-J, Lot 280, for $1.00, said property being located in the 27th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh; and
 
Whereas, the City of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to accept the aforementioned Deed; and
 
Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed conveyance is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.
 
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.        That execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh in connection with the sale of Block 45-J, Lot 280, for $1.00, said property being located in the 27th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby approved,
 
Section 2.        That acceptance of the aforementioned Deed by the City of Pittsburgh is hereby approved.
