Resolution approving Execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh for the Sale of Block 128-N, Lots 97 and part of 108, in the 14th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh - Council District No. 5 - Fernwald Road and Anita Avenue (Greenway)

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh, in connection with the sale of Block 128-N, Lots 97 and part of 108, for $1.00, said properties being located in the 14th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh; and
Whereas, the City of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to accept the aforementioned Deed; and
Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed conveyance is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That execution of a Deed by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and the City of Pittsburgh in connection with the sale of Block 128-N, Lots 97 and part of 108, in the 14th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh for $1.00, be and the same is hereby approved,
Section 2. That acceptance of the aforementioned Deed by the City of Pittsburgh is hereby approved.
