Whereas, by Resolution No. 645, effective October 24, 2006, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh authorized Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (“URA”) to submit an application to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget (the “Commonwealth”) for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (“RACP”) in the amount of $7,500,000 for the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh branch modernization project (the “Project”); and

Whereas, the Commonwealth approved the Application and combined with it a $250,000 RACP grant for the Centre and Kirkpatrick branches; and

Whereas, the Commonwealth has increased the grant by $750,000, which requires an amendment to Resolution No. 645 to reflect the increased grant and to include the Centre and Kirkpatrick branches in the definition of Project;

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 645, effective October 24, 2006, which currently reads as follows:

“The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program in the amount of $7,500,000 for the Project.”

is hereby amended to read as follows:

“The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for a grant under the ...
