Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, a grant from the Department of Justice in the amount of One Hundred Fifty Seven Thousand Dollars, for the purpose of successful conduct of the City's Operation Weed and Seed Program in the Lawrenceville neighborhood (U.S. Department of Justice Project Number: 2010-WS-QX-0022).

Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a professional services Agreement or Agreements with qualified drug treatment programs for drug treatment services, with qualified non-profit agencies for project coordination services, with qualified organizations for community surveying, social, educational, recreational, youth development, and other related services including transfer of salaries and fringe benefits, supply purchases, equipment purchases, travel reimbursement, and other expenses in connection with the City's Operation Weed and Seed Program in the Lawrenceville neighborhood (U.S. Department of Justice Project Number: 2010-WS-QX-0022), that are required for the successful conduct of the program, in an amount not to exceed ...
