WHEREAS, The Carrick Neighborhood Group is a non-profit organization based in the Carrick Neighborhood in the City of Pittsburgh; and
WHEREAS, The mission of the Carrick Neighborhood Group is to provide neighborhood and public services to the people of Carrick and its surrounding locales on a not-for-profit basis; and
WHEREAS, The Carrick Neighborhood Group has been in existence for decades, serving the people of Carrick and of Pittsburgh; now

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognizes The Carrick Neighborhood Group to be a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
