Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and celebrate the 90th birthday of Addie Rebecca Trent; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare August 22, 2010 to be “Addie Rebecca Trent Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHERAS, Addie Rebecca Trent was born on August 22, 1920 in Suffolk, VA; and
 
WHEREAS, Mrs. Trent moved to Pittsburgh in 1942 with her late husband, John P. Trent, when they married; and
 
WHEREAS, the couple raised three children, Dr. Deirdre R. Trent, Rev. Dr. John S. Trent, and James Trent; and
 
WHEREAS, the couple resided at their Beltzhoover address for over 60 years; and
 
WHEREAS, Mrs. Trent worked at the University of Pittsburgh's Physics Microscope Department and the University of Pittsburgh bookstore; and
 
WHEREAS, Mrs. Trent is a member of the Bidwell Presbyterian Church.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and celebrate the 90th birthday of Addie Rebecca Trent; and
 
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare August 22, 2010 to be "Addie Rebecca Trent Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
