WHEREAS, Gateway to the Arts is a non-profit organization that works to give opportunities to students and educators to learn more about the arts and for artists to have opportunities to teach and perform; and

WHEREAS, the mission of Gateway to the Arts is to transform the lives and education of children through active participation in the arts and inspires students and educators to become lifelong learners and participants in the arts by making the arts integral to education.; and

WHEREAS, more than 119 local artists have participated in the organization's programming; and

WHEREAS, Gateway to the Arts provides programs for all ages of students, from early childhood to 12^th grade students.
