Resolution providing for the designation as a Historic Structure under Title 11 of the Code of Ordinances that certain site known as Pittsburgh Stained Glass Studio, located at 160 Warden Street (19-M-17 and 19), in the West End, in the 20th Ward, City of Pittsburgh. The owner of the property supports the nomination and there is no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh has duly enacted Title 11 of the Code of Ordinances, which protects and preserves Historic Structures, Districts, Sites, and Objects; and
WHEREAS, Kirk Weaver nominated the Pittsburgh Stained Glass Studio, located at 1160 Warden Street (19-M-17 and 19) for designation as a Historic Structure; and
WHEREAS, the Historic Review Commission has held a public hearing to gather testimony from the property owner and other interested parties concerning the appropriateness of this designation; and
WHEREAS, the Historic Review Commission has voted to recommend that City Council designate Pittsburgh Stained Glass Studio, located at 160 Warden Street (19-M-17 and 19) as a Historic Structure; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has held a public hearing to gather testimony from the property owner and other interested parties concerning the appropriateness of this designation; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has voted to recommend that City Council designate the Pittsburgh Stained Glass Studio, located at 160 Warden Street as a Historic Structure; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh has held a public hearing to gather testimony from the public concerning the appropriateness of this designation; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh finds that the aforementioned Pittsburgh Stained Glass Studio is a Historic Structure that should be preserved;
