Title: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh, does, hereby, recognize and commend Sue Wielock for her dedication and service to the Arlington Neighborhood of Pittsburgh. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does, hereby, proclaim Monday, June 07, 2010, to be SUE WIELOCK DAY in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, each year, the Arlington Civic Council recognizes outstanding volunteers, who make a difference, in their community; and
WHEREAS, Sue Wielock is one of this year's honorees, for her dedicated service to the safety of her neighborhood; and
WHEREAS, Sue Wielock is a life-long resident of Arlington, where she has worked tirelessly to improve the safety of her neighborhood, by serving as the President of the 16th Ward Blockwatch and the Vice-President of the Zone 3 Public Safety Council and has worked with the Urban Redevelopment Authority to identify unsafe buildings in the Arlington neighborhood, so that they might be removed, making the neighborhood safer for all; and
WHEREAS, Susie also volunteers her time to assist the members of the St. Clair AA Seniors, in their many activities; and
WHEREAS, in addition to her volunteer time, Sue Wielock, also, enjoys spending time with proud parents, Donna and Frank and her brother, Christopher and sister, Georgean.
