WHEREAS, e.b. Pepper opened her boutique, “e.b. Pepper”, on March 31, 1987 -- her birthday; and,

WHEREAS, e.b. has spent nearly four decades styling Pittsburgh; and,

 

WHEREAS, e.b. has a lifelong passion for picking clothes from top designers around the world. Her experience and eye for fashions Pittsburgh loves has made her an expert at helping women find the perfect addition to their wardrobe; and,

 

WHEREAS, e.b. Pepper grew up in Stanton Heights and is a Peabody High School graduate who loved shopping on Walnut Street growing up; and,

 

WHEREAS, e.b. was one of Pittsburgh’s influencers before there were influencers and helped create a more fashionable Pittsburgh; and,

 

WHEREAS, the lease for e.b.’s boutique will end March 31st, 2024, and she will retire.

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby celebrate the 37 years of outstanding service of e.b. Pepper; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, March 5, 2024, to be “e.b. Pepper Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
