WHEREAS, the Fraternal Order of Police Fort Pitt Lodge #1 is the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protect and serve our communities; and,

WHEREAS, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Fort Pitt Lodge #1 is committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those they serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation; and,

 

WHEREAS, FOP Fort Pitt Lodge #1 is hosting its Annual Retirement and Awards Dinner Party Friday, March 8, 2023 at 1070 Banksville road, Pgh Pa 15216; and,

 

WHEREAS, the following 53 officers who retired from the City of Pittsburgh Police Bureau in the year 2023 are being honored: Ronald Viskovicz, Bryan Sellers, William Kelsch , Thomas Weger, Adam Turk, Carl Sanchioli, Christine Hall, Donna Szablewski, Stacey Schell, Joshua Hartle, Troy Signorella, John Klaczak, Dawn Bowen, Douglas Hugney, Steven Hoffman, Daniel Dulski, James Gahr, Charles R. Provident Jr., John M Gilkey, Brian Jones, Mark Chambers, Thomas Mignogna, Michael Benner, Paul Abel, Julie Stoops, Eric Engelhardt, Eric Tatusko, Alisa Duncan, James Glick, Holly Murphy, Glenn Hairston, Jeffery Garris, Louis Caporali, Craig Fleishauer, Neal Marabello, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Timothy McManaway, Eric Shueler, Diane Eibeck, Ronald Spangler, John Fisher, Donald Pasquarelli, David Cannon, May Fong, Carol Ehlinger, Jeffery Watt, Phillip Carey, Thomas Huerbin, Anna Kudrav-Tague, Eric Harpster, Christine Mitchell, Dominick Scuilli, Lavonnie Bickerstaff; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does herby commend the 2023 retirees for their dedication and commitment to protecting and serving the people of the City of Pittsburgh; and,

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Friday, March 8, 2024 to be “FOP Fort Pitt Lodge #1 2023 Retirees Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
