Resolution providing for a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts for the purchase of fire nozzles and other firefighting equipment for the Fire Bureau at a cost not to exceed Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) and providing for the payment thereof.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.  The Director of the Department of Public Safety and the Fire Chief on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to enter into a Contract or Contracts, for the purchase of fire nozzles and other firefighting equipment.  The total shall not exceed Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) chargeable to and payable from Account 544700, Fund 6100, Organization 250000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Budget Year 2010, Project/Grant #2261200, Bureau of Fire, Department of Public Safety.
