Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Parks and Recreation to enter into Sponsorship Agreements for the City of Pittsburgh Independence Day Festival (the “Festival”). The Sponsorship Terms will provide a total value of $10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents).

WHEREAS, each July, the Office of Special Events presents the City of Pittsburgh Independence Day Festival, an annual festival in Point State Park which celebrates our Nation’s history and independence, which attracts guests from around the region and tri-state area; and
WHEREAS, Trulieve desires to provide the City with financial sponsorship support of $10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents) for the Festival and designated associated activities; and the parties wish to enter into a Sponsorship Agreement for the year 2024.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of Parks and Recreation are authorized to enter into a Financial Sponsorship Agreement with Trulieve for the City of Pittsburgh Independence Day Festival and designated associated activities. The Sponsorship Terms will provide a total value of $10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Dollars and Zero Cents) to the City to support the Independence Day Festival. All monies from the aforementioned sponsors will be deposited into the following account: JDE 5000731400.48106.00.
