Title
Resolution providing for the submission of a $15,000 Certified Local Government (CLG) grant application to the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) for the development of the Cultural Heritage component to the City's Comprehensive Master Plan.

Body
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh, through the Department of City Planning, desires to undertake a Comprehensive Cultural Heritage Plan; and

WHEREAS, the City desires to receive from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) a grant for the purpose of carrying out this project through PHMC's Certified Local Government grant program; and

WHEREAS, the City understands that the contents of the document entitled “Terms and Conditions of Grant”, including the document entitled “Signature Page for Grant Agreement” and appendices referred to therein, will become the terms and conditions of a Grant Agreement between the City and PHMC if the City is awarded a grant;

Section 1. The Mayor or the Director of City Planning of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to submit a Certified Local Government (CLG) grant application to and execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC) in order to create a Cultural Heritage Plan for the City.

Section 2. If the City is awarded a grant, the Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh may enter into a grant agreement with the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC).

Section 3. The Mayor and/or the Director of City Planning of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with consultants under the terms of the agreement between the City and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC).

Section 4. The Mayor or the Director of City Planning, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement/Agreements or Contracts or use of existing Agreements or Contracts, in a form approved by ...
