Title: NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh extends its sincere congratulations and appreciation to Principal Allison Kline for being a great educator and dedicated citizen of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Council in recognition of Allison Kline's dedication to public education and to her community does hereby declare January 27, 2010, “Principal Allison Kline Day” in the City of Pittsburgh

WHEREAS, Allison Kline is beloved by those she serves as the Principal at Dickson Elementary School in the Woodland Hills School District; and
 
 
WHEREAS, Principal Kline, never satisfied to do only that which is required of her, has gone the extra mile on behalf of her students, her community, and stands as an example to all for excellence in public education;
 
 
WHEREAS, Principal Kline not only cares deeply for those she serves at school, but also cares deeply about the community as evidenced by her willingness to be a foster parent and her personal commitment to the children of the community;
 
 
WHEREAS, Principal Kline has fostered an atmosphere of cooperation and common purpose between teacher, student and parent, which is the foundation for great public school.
