Title
Resolution providing that the City of Pittsburgh enter into a professional services agreement or agreements with UPMC Mercy OccuNet for professional services in connection with the administration and evaluation of medical examinations and related tests and procedures for the Civil Service Commission's medical examination program for current and prospective employees for employment and promotion, and providing for the payment of the cost thereof. Cost not to exceed $150,000.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for UPMC Mercy OccuNet to provide professional services in connection with the administration and evaluation of medical examinations and related tests and procedures for the Civil Service Commission's medical examination program for current and prospective employees at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000), chargeable to and payable from Code Account 574600 Fund 1000, Sub Class 040, Organization Code 999300, Budget Year 2010, Department of Personnel and Civil Service Commission.
These professional services will include but not be limited to:
Pre-employment medical examinations Medical Review Officer (MRO) functions
Promotional medical examinations DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing
Return-to-work medical examinations Specimen collection services
Section 2. The City Controller shall encumber funds for the annual contract, subject to the amount of funds to be appropriated by City Council in respective budget years from the following chart accounts:
