Title
Resolution establishing a Special Parking District and Authorizing the Public Parking Authority of Pittsburgh to establish parking rates at Technology Drive equal to or greater than the rates of the Urban Redevelopment Authority's Garage at 401 Technology Drive (Council District 6)
 
Body
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh constructed a 723-space parking garage at 401 Technology Drive assisted by HUD 108 Loans approved by City Council; and
 
Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh relocated Technology Drive at the Pittsburgh Technology Center assisted by HUD 108 Loans approved by City Council; and
 
Whereas, upon the City of Pittsburgh's acceptance of the new Technology Drive the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh wishes to establish metered parking rates equal to or greater than its rates at the garage;
 
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Public Parking Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to set the metered parking rates on Technology Drive at the Pittsburgh Technology Center to be equal to or greater than the equivalent rates at the garage at 401 Technology Drive.
