Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Chief of Police and the Director of Public Safety on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into contract or contracts, or use of existing contract or contracts, or agreement or agreements, for the purchase of City issued protective equipment and related accessories. The total cost shall not exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) chargeable to and payable from:
