WHEREAS, the Central Catholic Paul J. Sciullo II Memorial Hockey Game will take place on November 7, 2009 at the Shady Side Academy hockey rink; and
WHEREAS, the event is being organized by former teammates of Officer Scuillo; and
WHEREAS, Central Catholic alumni will play in the hockey game and the event will feature a silent auction with signed memorabilia and guest appearances by former Pittsburgh Penguins players; and
WHEREAS, the proceeds from the event will benefit the Paul J. Sciullo II
Memorial Fund, a tuition scholarship program for Central Catholic High School students.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh thanks the Central Catholic High School alumni for organizing the event to honor the memory of Officer Paul J. Scuillo II; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby declares November 7, 2009, "Central Catholic Paul J. Sciullo II Memorial Hockey Game Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.
