Resolution granting unto The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, their successors and assigns, the privilege and license to construct, maintain and use at his own cost and expense, overhead architectural features, a ramp and book returns for the East Liberty Branch of The Carnegie Library at 130 South Whitfield Street, Baum Boulevard and Tamello Way in the 8th Ward, 9th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. That The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, 4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213, his successors and assigns, are hereby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense,
1) Overhead projections at three locations (130 South Whitfield Street, Baum Boulevard and Tamello Way) - 0' to 7'9” out from the face of the building and a total combined length of approximately 175' per Exhibit A, consisting of zinc plated panels, 10' to 17' above sidewalk area;
2) Handicap ramp - located at 130 South Whitfield Street extending 3'7” out from building by 16'9” in length, 1:12 slope, concrete with metal rail and stairs;
3) Book Returns: located at 130 South Whitfield Street and Tamello Way, two (2) returns at each location for a total of four (4), at least 18” behind the curb area; in the 8th Ward, 9th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.
The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of their resolution and in accordance with the Plan identified as Accession D-711 on file in the Division of Surveys, Department of Public Works.
Section 2. The said Grantee prior to the beginning of the construction of said encroachment shall submit to the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh a complete set of plans, in triplicate, showing the location and all details of said construction.
