Title

Ordinance amending Ord. No. 4 of 2009, effective 1-1-2010, entitled, "An Ordinance amending and supplementing the Pittsburgh Code, Title 4:  Public Places and Property; Article I:  Public Rights of Way; Chapter 416:  Obstructions, by making changes relating to street encroachments for sidewalk cafes" by adding language to Section 416.12, Effective Date.

Body

Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  That Ord. No. 4 of 2009, effective 1-1-2010, entitled, "Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 4 of 2009, effective January 1, 2010, entitled, Ordinance amending and supplementing the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances, Title 4:  Public Places and Property; Article I:  Public Rights of Way; Chapter 416:  Obstructions, by making various changes relating to street encroachments for sidewalk cafes, is hereby amended by adding language at Section 416.12, as follows:

§  416.12 Effective Date

(a)      This Ordinance shall become effective January 1, 2010.

(b) Any application, that is deemed to be new by DPW, received after July 1, 2009, shall adhere to this ordinance at the time of filing.
