Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 096-09, effective March 20, 2009, which currently reads as follows:

The Director of the Department of Public Works and the Director of the Department of Finance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to advertise for proposals and to award and enter into a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts in a form approved by City Solicitor, for street resurfacing programs to include hot mix asphalt, crack sealing, equipment purchases, sawing and sealing, asphalt milling, truck rental, brick and blockstone repairs, handicap ramps, concrete slab replacement and parks related asphalt work at various locations throughout the City of Pittsburgh, at a cost not to exceed seven million ($7,000,000.00) Dollars, chargeable to and payable from Fund 6100, Org. 400000, Sub-Class PGHPR, Project 2239000, Budget Year 2009, Account 525500, Street Resurfacing, Department of Public Works.

Is hereby amended to read as follows:
